Casa do Campo is a modern two bedroom, two bathroom villa set in the tranquil lower Alentejo region of Portugal, ideal for lovers of the real rural Portugal.
The relatively unknown lower Alentejo region is one of the last places in Europe where the pace of life is anything but frenetic.
The villa offers comfortable modern accommodation. It has a large air-conditioned lounge with a central woodburning stove for cosy winter evenings. A fully fitted kitchen and two good sized air-conditioned bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a small mezzanine above the lounge that offers a further single bed.
Outside the villa you can enjoy your own private pool with an extensive patio and plenty of shade. Enjoy views over the surrounding countryside and the peace of having no close neighbours.
Only 30km north of the Algarve the lifestyle of the Alentejo is a world away from the Algarve, Faro airport is 75 minutes away and the busy south coast only 60 minutes. The superb unspoilt westcoast beaches can be reached in 40 minutes. Driving is a joy on roads that have extremely light traffic.

Double bedroom.
The main double bedroom is air conditioned for summer cooling and winter heat. Patio doors open onto the rear garden. The bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom.

Comfortable Lounge/Diner.
The large lounge has two french doors opening to the verandah and pool. The wood burning stove provides additional heating when the winter nights are chilly. For entertainment there is satellite television, dvd player and a dvd film library.

Two modern bathrooms.
The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the second bathroom is located adjacent to the twin bedroom. Each has toilet, bidet, full-sized baths with shower over, washbasin and large well lit mirror. All inside towels are provided.

Twin bedroom.
The comfortable twin bedroom is fully air conditioned providing both cooling and heating. French doors lead onto the rear garden. For infants a cot is available free of charge.

Open plan kitchen.
The kitchen has all the appliances needed for your holiday, such as refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric oven, steamer and gas hob.

Private pool.
The villa has its own private pool with a secluded sun terrace and a large verandah for shade. The pool has a shallow end of about 90cm depth and a deep end of about 175cm for diving. By using salt technology the pool is very kind to the skin.

Swings and BBQ area.
Enjoy a lazy BBQ lunch or dinner. The villa has a full size charcoal BBQ on the side of a large gravelled play area with children's swings.

One of the lakes.
There are two small lakes that attract a variety of wildlife. The numerous frogs make a call out at night competing with the noise of the cicadas. Numerous waders take full advantage of the habitat

View from the pool.
The villa is on the side of a hill with a river below that runs in the winter when there is enough rain. Across the valley the landscape is more cultivated with scattered olive groves.

Shady veranda.
>During the summer months the sun at midday can be very fierce. The covered veranda provides welcome shade and an ideal place for alfresco dining. In the evening, sun floods the veranda and just watching the sun go down with a drink in hand becomes compulsive.

Private location in the country.
The villa is position on the side of a hill surrounded by wilderness. With no passing traffic, visitors remark on the peace and quiet which allows total relaxation.
